COMING SOON: The SDR! Marketplace

You’ve been purchasing movies for years and, let’s be honest, when you mull over your collection, there are some regrets. Did you really need to purchase ‘I, Robot’? Is that ‘300’ purchase looking like a solid buy, even after seeing it on TNT every single weekend?
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a tool to help you offload the excess items in your collection, and maybe even help earn a buck or two?

Well, that’s the idea behind the Super DVD Robot! Marketplace. Soon, users will be able to flag their items as ‘For Sale’ and even set an asking price. It’s that simple. Super DVD Robot! takes care of the rest, by cataloging and sorting all of your items to make them easy to find. We’ll even be going an extra step to make it known to people that are looking for your movies that they can get them on the cheap.
A few things to note:
For the first week or so of the Marketplace, we’ll be playing by Craigslist rules and keeping the Marketplace browsing to local areas, only. This means that when you see an item you want to purchase from another SDR! user, you’ll send them a message, agree on a price, and arrange an in-person transaction in a safe, public, well-lit place.

We plan to do it this way for a very short while until we can roll out all of the features still being developed for the SDR! Marketplace.
Stay tuned for more updates on the SDR! Marketplace and future SDR! features and services.
