So, while showing Super DVD Robot! to my friend, Nick, this week, he immediately asked me “is it formatted for iPhone?”. At first, I didn’t understand the question. Mobile Safari (the iPhone browser) renders pages pretty accurately and therefore there really isn’t a need for an iPhone web app “version”. But then, as I watched him use the site, I got it. There was too much double-tap-to-zoom-in-on-an-element going on.

No es bueno.

So I built this. It’s a little quick and dirty, but it works and it looks good (to me).

I also think our movie pages are going to become more useful and valuable to mobile users as they use the site while out and about. See a movie you want? You’ll be able to hit the SDR! Marketplace (still coming) to see if anyone in your area is selling their copy before you drop $29.99 on the Blu-ray. Setup in-store pickups, view friends’ wishlists while out birthday shopping, etc.

Not to mention all of the data we have planned for the movie page.

This is going to be great and we hope you guys enjoy it.
